Holiday luncheon at UNOG

Last week at UNOG, representatives of several UN accredited NGOs – all members of NGO CSW Geneva, including the WFUWO — gathered for a holiday luncheon at the Maison de la Paix in Geneva.

The gathering was addressed by honorable guests Nathalie Fontanet, Geneva Cantonal Government Minister; Delia Leinarte, Chairperson of the UN CEDAW committee; and Adriana Quinones, Director of UN Women Geneva, who spoke about their support for gender equality and women’s rights and new challenges in relation to the war being waged against Ukraine. Dr Kateryna Bondar participated on behalf of the WFUWO.
